Instructions:
  1. Park on level ground, engage parking brake, and chock rear wheels.
  2. Loosen front wheel lug nuts, raise the vehicle with a jack, and secure on jack stands. Remove the wheel.
  3. Locate the inner tie rod end on the steering rack or center link and clean the area to expose fasteners.
  4. Loosen the jam nut on the outer tie rod at the adjuster sleeve if necessary and mark the position to preserve alignment.
  5. Separate the outer tie rod end from the steering knuckle using a tie rod puller or pickle fork, then unscrew the outer tie rod from the inner assembly if required.
  6. Remove any retaining clip or cotter pin, then unbolt or unscrew the inner tie rod end from the steering rack/center link.
  7. Compare the new part to the old one to ensure correct orientation and length. Apply thread locker or grease as recommended.
  8. Install the new inner tie rod end, torque fasteners to factory specifications, and reattach any retaining hardware.
  9. Reassemble the outer tie rod and adjuster sleeve to the marked position, tighten the jam nut, and reconnect to the steering knuckle. Torque to spec and install new cotter pin if applicable.
  10. Reinstall the wheel, lower the vehicle, and torque wheel lug nuts to specification.
  11. Have the vehicle professionally aligned to ensure correct toe and steering performance after installation.
