A two-piece U-jamb door lock pillar weatherstrip seal kit engineered to restore a tight, OEM-style seal where the door meets the lock pillar. These seals prevent water intrusion, reduce wind noise, and protect painted surfaces from wear around the door lock area. Molded from durable, weather-resistant EPDM rubber with a factory-profile design, the kit provides long-lasting compression and reliable sealing for restoration and maintenance projects on vehicles that use U-shaped jamb seals.

Suggested Tools:

Flat-blade screwdriver or trim removal tool
Isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner
Clean rags
Weatherstrip adhesive (if required)
Scissors or utility knife

Instructions:

Open the door and remove the old weatherstrip from the U-jamb area, using a trim tool or flat screwdriver to pry gently if needed.
Clean the jamb surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and old adhesive residue. Allow to dry.
Dry-fit the new seal pieces to confirm orientation and fit; trim length if necessary for a precise match.
If the seal has adhesive backing, peel protective liner a few inches at a time; if not, apply a thin, even bead of weatherstrip adhesive to the jamb per the adhesive manufacturer's directions.
Press the seal firmly into the U-jamb channel, working along the length to ensure full contact and correct alignment. Use steady pressure to seat the bulb and flange.
Trim any excess material with scissors or a utility knife and wipe away any adhesive squeeze-out immediately.
Close and open the door several times to verify fit and compression. Allow adhesive to cure for the recommended time before exposing to water or heavy use.
