Instructions:
- Park the vehicle on a level surface and lower the windows for access to the beltline channel.
- Carefully remove the old molding: use a plastic trim tool to pry up molding ends and a screwdriver or pliers to extract any clips or fasteners.
- Clean the mounting channel thoroughly with rubbing alcohol or adhesive cleaner to remove old adhesive, dirt, and corrosion; allow to dry.
- Inspect and replace any damaged clips or mounting hardware. If the kit includes new clips, arrange them for installation.
- Test-fit each molding piece (left/right, top/bottom) to confirm correct orientation and fit before final installation.
- If clips are used, align the molding with the channel and press firmly until each clip snaps into place; work along the length to avoid gaps.
- If adhesive or sealant is required, apply a continuous bead per manufacturer recommendations, align the molding, and press firmly into position. Wipe away excess immediately.
- Secure the ends and corner transitions, ensuring the molding sits flush and evenly along the beltline. Re-check window operation and adjust if necessary.
- Allow any adhesive or sealant to cure per product instructions before washing or driving in wet conditions.
