Instructions:
- Park vehicle on a level surface, engage parking brake, and open the hood.
- Locate the existing hood/fender bumper(s) where the hood contacts the fender or body.
- If replacing an old bumper, gently pry it out using a flathead screwdriver or plastic trim tool and remove any remnants.
- Clean the mounting area with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol to remove dirt, grease, and debris; allow to dry.
- Align the BMP 009 bumper with the mounting hole or boss and press firmly until it snaps or seats fully in place.
- Close the hood slowly to confirm proper contact and gap; if necessary, adjust bumper height or location for even fit.
- Reopen the hood and verify the bumper is secure and not loose; replace any additional bumpers as needed.
