Instructions:
- Open the hood and locate the existing bumper on the hood or fender.
- Remove the old bumper by pulling straight out; use a flathead or trim tool to pry if needed.
- Clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with rubbing alcohol to remove grease and debris.
- Inspect the mounting hole or grommet. Replace any damaged grommet or hardware before installing the new bumper.
- Align the BMP 007-2 bumper with the mounting hole and press firmly until it seats flush. If the bumper uses a threaded stud, insert and secure with the original nut.
- Close the hood slowly to check contact position. Adjust bumper height or location as needed to achieve even panel gaps and eliminate rattles.
- Re-check after a short test drive and retighten or reposition if necessary.
