Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground and lower vent glass (if possible) to gain access; disconnect battery if needed for power windows.
- Carefully remove any interior trim or retainers that block access to the vent window channel using trim tools to avoid damage.
- Remove the old weatherstrip by prying it out of the channel and pulling any remaining rubber out; use pliers for stubborn sections.
- Clean the channel thoroughly with a razor blade/scraper and isopropyl alcohol to remove old adhesive, dirt, and debris. Allow to dry.
- Test-fit the new seal pieces into the channel to confirm orientation and fit. Identify left/right and top/bottom as needed.
- Apply a thin film of soapy water or compatible lubricant to the seal profile to aid installation (do not use petroleum-based products).
- Press the new weatherstrip into the channel beginning at one corner and work around, ensuring the seal seats fully and uniformly; use a rubber mallet gently if needed.
- Reinstall the vent glass carefully into the newly seated channels, checking alignment and smooth operation. Adjust as necessary.
- Reinstall interior trim and retainers. Wipe away any excess lubricant and test for leaks by gently running water over the vent area or performing a water hose test.
- Inspect operation and reseat if any gaps or wind noise are present; allow seals to set for several hours before driving aggressively.
