OE-style non-greaseable center link designed for 1965-1967 Buick, Chevrolet, and Oldsmobile models. This steering center link replaces worn or damaged original equipment to restore proper steering geometry and reduce play in the linkage. Constructed for long-lasting service with corrosion-resistant finishes and precision-machined connection points, it secures tie rods and idler arm/pitman arm connections to improve steering response and reduce vibration. Ideal for restoration projects or routine maintenance, the part offers dependable fitment, easy installation, and reliable, low-maintenance operation.
Features:
- Direct fit for 1965-1967 Buick, Chevrolet, and Oldsmobile vehicles (OE-style, non-greaseable).
- OE-style design restores correct steering geometry and reduces play in the linkage.

Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 2/5
- Estimated time: 45-90 minutes
Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, chock rear wheels, and loosen front wheel lug nuts slightly.
- Raise the front of the vehicle with a floor jack and secure it on jack stands; remove the front wheels.
- Apply penetrating oil to nuts and bolts at the tie rod ends, pitman arm, and idler arm connections; allow to soak if corroded.
- Remove cotter pins (if present) and loosen the castle nuts or retaining nuts at the outer tie rod ends connected to the center link.
- Use a tie rod separator or pitman arm puller to disconnect the outer tie rod ends from the center link without damaging threads.
- Loosen and remove the nuts securing the center link to the pitman arm and idler arm; support the steering components as you separate them.
- Remove the old center link and compare to the new part to confirm correct orientation and fitment.
- Install the replacement center link, aligning it with the pitman arm and idler arm; hand-thread nuts initially to ensure proper engagement.
- Tighten all fasteners to the manufacturer's specified torque values and install new cotter pins where required.
- Reinstall wheels, lower the vehicle, and torque wheel lug nuts to specification.
- Start the vehicle and verify steering operation; check for binding or excessive play.
- Have a professional wheel alignment performed after installation to ensure proper steering geometry and tire wear.
