Instructions:
- Park on level ground and open the hood; prop it securely with the hood prop rod.
- Locate the existing hood/fender bumpers and note mounting positions.
- Remove the old bumper by prying gently with a flathead screwdriver or pulling it straight out; use pliers if necessary.
- Clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with a rag, removing dirt, rust, or old adhesive.
- If the fit is tight, apply a small amount of silicone spray or soapy water to the bumper stem for lubrication.
- Align the new BMP 013 bumper stem with the mounting hole and press firmly until the bumper seats flush against the mounting surface.
- Close the hood slowly to check gap and alignment; if height adjustment is needed, remove and re-seat the bumper at a different depth or trim the stem slightly (test fit before trimming).
- Repeat the process for any additional bumpers and recheck alignment and hood operation after installation.
