Installation / Application:

Instructions:
- Open the hood and support it securely.
- Locate the existing hood/fender bumper and examine the mounting method (threaded stud with nut or push-in style).
- If threaded, use pliers to hold the stud and an adjustable wrench or socket to remove the retaining nut. If push-in, gently pry out the bumper with a flat-head screwdriver or pull it free.
- Clean the mounting hole and surrounding area with a rag and solvent to remove debris, grease, and rust.
- Position the new BMP 010 bumper into the mounting hole. For threaded units, insert the stud and hand-start the nut, then tighten securely with a wrench. For push-in units, press firmly until fully seated.
- Adjust bumper height as needed so the hood closes flush and gaps are even; tighten any fasteners and apply threadlocker if desired.
- Close the hood and check for proper seating, noise reduction, and alignment. Re-adjust if necessary.
