The Precision Metal Stamped Molding Clip 10631 is a durable, stamped-steel replacement clip designed to secure exterior and interior trim, moldings, and panels. It restores factory fit and finish by fastening trim to the vehicle body or door surfaces, preventing rattles and reducing water intrusion. With a corrosion‑resistant finish and precision-stamped profile, the clip delivers consistent retention force and long-term reliability while remaining easy to install—ideal for restoration, repair, and routine maintenance on a wide range of vehicles.
Features:
- Stamped steel construction for high strength and secure hold.
- Corrosion-resistant finish extends service life in harsh environments.
- Secures trim, moldings, and panels to reduce vibration and rattles.
- Snap-in design enables quick, tool-assisted installation.

- Estimated time: 15-30 minutes (depending on number of clips)
Instructions:
- Park on a level surface, turn off the vehicle, and wear gloves to protect your hands.
- Use a trim removal tool or pry tool to carefully lift and detach the trim or molding from the vehicle, exposing the old clip.
- Remove the old, damaged clip by compressing its retaining tabs with pliers or prying it out with a flathead screwdriver as needed.
- Clean the clip mounting hole and surrounding area of dirt, rust, and old adhesive to ensure proper seating.
- Align the new 10631 clip with the mounting hole or stud and press it straight in until the clip snaps or seats flush.
