Instructions:
- Open the hood and locate the worn or damaged bumper on the hood or fender mounting pad.
- If applicable, remove any retaining nuts or clips using a socket wrench or appropriate tool.
- Use a trim tool or flathead screwdriver to gently pry out the old bumper; apply penetrating oil first if it is corroded.
- Clean the mounting pad with a rag and mild cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and debris.
- Align the replacement BMP 007 bumper with the mounting hole or stud and push it into place until fully seated; if it uses a threaded stud, slide the bumper on and reinstall the retaining nut to hand-tight, then snug with a wrench.
- Close the hood and check gap and contact—adjust bumper height or position slightly if needed to achieve correct alignment and even panel gaps.
- Re-check after a short drive and retighten any fasteners if necessary.
