Instructions:
- Park vehicle on level ground, engage parking brake, and shut off engine.
- If present, remove the old pedal pad by pulling it straight off the pedal. Use a flat-head screwdriver to help pry it off if it's stubborn.
- Clean the metal pedal surface with a cloth and isopropyl alcohol or mild cleaner to remove dirt, grease, and debris. Allow to dry.
- If needed, apply a small amount of soapy water or silicone spray to the pedal shank to ease installation (wipe away excess after fitting).
- Align the new PDP 001 pad over the pedal and push it firmly until it seats fully. Make sure any internal grooves or retention lips engage the pedal.
- Depress the pedal several times and visually confirm the pad stays securely in place and does not shift or bunch.
- Test drive at low speed in a safe area to verify pedal feel and secure fit before normal use.
