Instructions:
- Open and securely prop the hood to access the bumper mounting area.
- Locate the existing hood/fender bumper and inspect how it is fastened (push-in, threaded, or retained by a clip).
- Remove the old bumper: use a flathead or trim tool to pry out push-in types, or use pliers to unscrew/pull threaded or clipped units.
- Clean the mounting hole and surround area with a rag to remove dirt, rust, or old adhesive for a secure fit.
- Lightly apply silicone spray or lubricant to the base of the new bumper to ease installation.
- Seat the new bumper into the mounting hole and press firmly until fully seated; if threaded, engage and tighten by hand or with pliers as appropriate.
- Close the hood and check alignment and gap. If necessary, adjust bumper height or position slightly to achieve the correct fit.
- Operate the hood several times and recheck fitment after initial compression; tighten or reposition if needed.
