When a vehicle makes a turn, lateral force is applied proportional to the rate of lateral acceleration. Because the center of gravity sits relatively higher than the suspension, this lateral force causes the vehicle to lean away from the direction in which the vehicle is turning. Most commonly you'll see this in a motor home or large bus, and you may notice the top of the vehicle tilting when it turns a corner.
