Features:
- Fits 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle and 1967 Chevrolet El Camino
- Heavy-gauge stamped steel construction for strength and durability
- Secures and aligns the radiator, fan shroud, condenser and mounting hardware
- Precision-formed mounting points for OEM-style fit and reduced alignment work
- Corrosion-resistant finish to extend service life in restored or daily-driven vehicles
- Direct replacement to restore front-end structure and cooling system geometry
- Bolt-in design eases installation for restoration and repair applications
Installation / Application:
- Difficulty: 3/5
- Estimated time: 2–4 hours
Instructions:
- Park on level ground, disconnect the battery, and drain the cooling system.
- Support the engine if necessary (some installations require an engine support bar) and raise the front of the vehicle on jack stands.
- Remove the radiator, fan shroud, grille, and any trim or components attached to the existing radiator support to gain full access.
- Locate and remove fasteners and cut spot welds holding the old support; use a spot-weld cutter or grinder as needed and carefully remove the old support.
- Clean and prep surrounding sheetmetal; check fit of the new support by test-fitting into position and aligning mounting points.
- Secure the new support in place using provided hardware or by tack-welding; verify alignment of radiator mounts, hood latch area and fender gaps before finalizing.
- Weld or bolt the support permanently per vehicle requirements, grind welds smooth if needed, and treat exposed metal with primer or seam sealer to prevent corrosion.
- Reinstall radiator, fan shroud, grille and any removed components; refill cooling system, reconnect the battery, and check for proper operation and leaks.
- Lower the vehicle, torque fasteners to factory specs, and perform a final alignment check of the hood, grille, and radiator positioning.
