This right-hand quarter panel is a direct-replacement exterior panel for 1966-1967 Chevrolet Chevelle models (does not include the door jamb). It restores original body lines, wheel opening geometry and tail-lamp area while returning structural support to the rear quarter. Built as a stamped sheet-metal reproduction, the panel is designed for restoration and collision repair to deliver durable, long-lasting results and a factory-like fit when installed and finished properly.
Features:
  • Fits 1966-1967 Chevrolet Chevelle — right-hand (passenger side) quarter panel; does not include door jamb.
  • Stamped sheet-metal construction engineered to replicate factory contours and mounting locations.
  • Restores body lines, wheel opening, and tail-lamp mounting area; reinforces rear-quarter structural integrity.
  • Weld-ready edges and formed flanges for secure attachment to existing structure.
  • Designed for restoration and collision repair to reduce fabrication time and provide a reliable, long-lasting repair.
  • Durable when properly sealed, primed and painted to resist corrosion and road wear.
Installation / Application:
  • Difficulty: 4/5
  • Estimated time: 4–12 hours (may vary with rust removal and complexity; professional installation often recommended)
Suggested Tools:
  • Angle grinder/cutting wheel
  • Spot weld cutter/drill
  • MIG or TIG welder
  • Clamps and panel alignment tools
  • Hammer and dolly set
  • Grinder/sander
  • Seam sealer
  • Rust inhibitor/primer and paint
  • Safety gear (gloves, eye protection, respirator)
Instructions:
  1. Thoroughly inspect the vehicle and assess rust, inner-structure condition and adjoining panels; remove trim, lights and any components obstructing access.
  2. Mark and remove the damaged quarter panel along factory seams using a spot-weld cutter and cutting tools; preserve as much of the inner structure and mounting flanges as possible.
  3. Clean and prepare mating surfaces: remove rust, paint and debris; treat exposed metal with a rust inhibitor and ensure straight, square edges for welding.
  4. Test-fit the replacement panel, checking alignment to wheel opening, rocker, roofline and trunk/tail areas; make any necessary trimming to achieve proper gaps and fit.
  5. Clamp and tack-weld the panel at multiple points, beginning at reference points and working outward to maintain alignment; recheck fit frequently.
  6. Complete welds in short runs to minimize warping; grind welds flush where required and use hammer/dolly to restore contours if needed.
  7. Apply seam sealer to all welded and joined seams, coat exposed welds with primer or rust-inhibiting paint, and finish with primer and topcoat to match the vehicle.
  8. Reinstall removed trim, lights and components; inspect for proper operation and final fit, and perform final block sanding and paint touch-ups as needed.
