Replacement air conditioning evaporator core for 1968-72 Chevrolet Chevelle, El Camino, and 1970-72 Monte Carlo models. The evaporator core is where refrigerant changes state from a liquid into a gas, which is ultimately used to cool the interior of the vehicle. The core is located inside the case at the firewall under the hood. Replaces GM part# 3016987. Can be used with either R12 or R134. Sold individually. See vehicle fitment for all applications.
