Instructions:
- Remove the old pedal pads by pulling them straight off. If stuck, carefully pry a portion free with a small flathead screwdriver or trim tool and work around the pad to remove it.
- Thoroughly clean the metal pedal surfaces with a cloth and mild solvent or soapy water to remove dirt, oil, and rust. Dry completely.
- (Optional) Soak the new rubber pads briefly in warm water to make them more pliable for easier fitting.
- Apply a small amount of soapy water to the inside of the new pad and to the pedal surface to act as a lubricant for installation.
- Stretch the pad over the pedal, starting at the top edge and working the pad down until the inner lip seats around the pedal perimeter. Ensure the tread pattern is oriented correctly.
- Wipe away any excess moisture and press the pad edges firmly into place. Allow any remaining moisture to evaporate before use.
- Test pedal feel and clearance with the vehicle off to confirm the pads are secure and do not interfere with pedal travel.
