There are no returns or refunds on such items.This voltmeter can be used to replace the existing ammeter in the gauges dash of your 1970-72 Chevelle, Monte Carlo, or El Camino. The voltmeter is designed to fit into the dash pod replacing the ammeter. Wiring is separate from the circuit board.
The original ammeter showed the flow of current in and out of the battery, while this new voltmeter will show the force of the current (voltage) that exists in the system.
Ammeters have fallen out of favor due, in part, to the presence of hot wires under the dash even when the vehicle is turned off. Also ammeters, when wired by GM as a shunt meter, cannot function as intended when One-Wire Alternators are used or the factory wiring is replaced.

Overdrive simply means that the output shaft of the transmission rotates faster then the speed of the input shaft from the engine.
