This trunk floor drop off drain plug is designed for 1964-1979 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova (X-Body), 1967-1969 Chevrolet Camaro and Pontiac Firebird (F-Body), 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle and El Camino (A-Body), and 1965-1970 full-size Chevrolet models where a 1-inch drain hole is used. Installed in the trunk floor drop off panel, this plug seals the factory drain opening while allowing for removal when necessary for drainage or service. Manufactured to factory-style dimensions for proper fit in a 1-inch hole, it serves as an OEM-style replacement for missing, damaged, or deteriorated originals during trunk floor repair or classic restoration. Each time a prototype body panel comes off of a new tooling, we test fit it on a car. The marked up prototype is then used to change and improve the tools, and a new prototype is produced. This procedure might be repeated multiple times but, once the part is finally approved, you can be assured of a quality part.
