Reproduction Of Original Correct Cad Coating Transmission Control Spark (T.C.S.) Solenoids control when and how much vacuum is applied to the distributor vacuum advance. Typically, a vacuum line from the carburetor enters the solenoid and another vacuum line exits the solenoid and is routed to the distributor vacuum advance (some applications have multiple inlet and outlet lines). These solenoids also rely on an electrical signal provided by other T.C.S. system switches/senders via an electrical connection on the back or side of the solenoid to function (the Engine Harness or T.C.S. Harness plugs into this connection). Long discontinued, these solenoids are highly sought after by restorers. These are exact reproduction solenoids and manufactured on the original Delco tooling.
