Instructions:
Remove the old seal and any adhesive residue. Lift the bumper slightly if needed to access the mating surface.
Clean the body and bumper mating surfaces thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol or an appropriate automotive cleaner; allow to dry completely.
Test-fit the new seal along the front right bumper-to-body area and trim any excess length with scissors or a utility knife so it fits flush.
If provided or recommended, apply an adhesion promoter to the fiberglass surface and let it become tacky per the manufacturer's directions.
Peel back a short section of the adhesive backing, align the seal at one end, and press into place. Continue peeling the backing gradually while pressing the seal firmly along its full length.
Use masking tape or clamps to hold the seal in position for 10–15 minutes if needed. For colder conditions, warming the adhesive backing slightly with a heat gun improves conformability.
