Instructions:
Park on a level surface and disconnect the battery if removing electrical bumper components.
Remove the bumper or loosen mounting hardware to gain clear access to the front left seam (recommended for easiest installation).
Clean mating surfaces thoroughly — remove dirt, rust, old adhesive, and loose paint. Wipe with a suitable cleaner and let dry.
Test-fit the fiberglass seal against the body and bumper. Use masking tape and a marker to note alignment points and any trimming required.
If needed, trim or sand the part for a precise fit. Dry-fit again until alignment is correct.
Apply automotive urethane adhesive or epoxy to the mating surface per adhesive manufacturer instructions (if using adhesive).
Position the seal into place, align using your marks, and secure with clamps or temporary fasteners. If bolt-on holes are required, drill pilot holes carefully and use appropriate fasteners.
Allow adhesive to cure fully according to product instructions (commonly 24 hours) before removing clamps or reinstalling the bumper.
Reinstall bumper and torque all mounting hardware to factory specifications. Check gaps and alignment, then sand, prime, and paint the seal to match the vehicle finish as desired.
